Still life a modo mio

at 70mm, 1/200 f/8.0, ISO 100, tripod.

The "brushed" or "cooked" flowers are perfect for the still life. I think you should get closer, maybe with a macro and you could shorten the stem to narrow the frame. Greetings. ;-)

Yes but you want to put a nice fresh flower and turgido?? :-D
Thank you so much for the comment, in fact I just chose to visually detach the flower from the vase thanks to the long stalk, so as to create a minimal composition with two different bright games in the same frame, the one given by the petals at the top and the one given by the Crystal at the bottom. A modest experiment we say! But I also have the macro on the flower eh! We don't miss anything :-D

Hello Victor! To me the photo really like it because I am handicapped in creating the background black... Probably also for lack of a suitable place. Do you have any low budjet advice?

Hello Anna... Look, all the sets I do are on budget zero or almost. For the black background in this case I used black sheets bought at Ikea: a sheet placed on the table as a tablecloth and one behind hanging from a structure for the depths. If you iron the sheets and keep them tight (and points the flashes on the subject with a power to illuminate the subject but not the depths) The result is the black pesto that you see in the picture. The photo I made by day in the room semi-illuminated, but with the diaphragm closed, low ISO and a short time is as if I was in the dark (and in fact serve the artificial lights, and I prefer the flashes).
If you need more scrivimi, but I'm just a convulsive clicghter, for the still life is better if you have a good guide :-)

Thanks a lot, I'll try for the sheets
