Questa Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 era dotata... come dice il nome... di un motore a 6 cilindri in linea di 2300 cm3, bialbero in testa aggiunto di un cambio a 4 marce avanti più retromarcia sincronizzate. Fu prodotta in circa 1600 esemplari fra il 1934 ed il 1937 nelle versioni Turismo, Gran Turismo e Turismo Sport. Alcune di queste ultime furono allestite da carrozzerie indipendenti... come questa "Pescara" che uscì dalla Carrozzeria Touring di Milano. Questa vettura è conosciuta anche come "la vettura del Duce" in quanto Benito Mussolini possedette una di queste versioni "Pescara" dal 1935 al 1939. Immagine scattata, sotto pioggia battente, durante il passaggio della 4° Tappa della 37° Edizione della 1000 Miglia rievocativa (15-18 Maggio 2019) sulla Via Emilia nei pressi di Bologna. Per questa vettura era stato inizialmente iscritto come conducente Giancarlo Fisichella mentre poi venne sostituito da Emanuele Pirro. Questo perché Fisichella dal 17 al 19 maggio si trovò impegnato sul Misano Word Circuit "Marco Simoncelli"... nell'ambito dell'ACI Weekend... alla guida di una Ferrari 488 GT 3 Pro... vettura condivisa con Stefano Gai e Jacques Villeneuve... e iscritta al Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo nella categoria GT 3 Pro con il numero di gara 27. Questa Ferrari 488 GT 3 Pro n. 27... della Scuderia Baldini... con alla guida Giancarlo Fisichella... è visibile, qui in Juza Photo, in una bellissima fotografia pubblicata nella Galleria Auto_22 di Mauro Gamberini.
