Hello Joseph, I find the image is not razor sharp, a little slurred. The light is unfortunately not helped you ...

with the passage .... it in fact is blurred. but I find, however, that it is a viewpoint

One of the most beautiful bays in the world, you should try at sunset, when the slanting light relief from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and the city.
This recovery is still a pretty sight, I think the effect is mixed due to diffraction of light due to the iris closed too far. The 24-105 at its best if between f9-f11, but you can easily push up to f16.
In addition, this view does not recognize the tripod so when shooting with this or similar situations remember to disable the stabilizer.
All the best, Luke

Thanks for the advice very welcome Luke, is the fact the picture is very mixed, it was early morning workout bike and as you rightly noted the slopes of Vesuvius are not well marked.
Riporvero at the going down of the lights have a nice day :-) ;-)
