A me piace davvero molto il taglio, solo il riflesso anteriore non è molto bello, però mi rendo conto della difficoltà, prova con un foglio di opalina ad attutire la luce.
La cosa più interessante è capire dove sei andato a fotografare questa orchidea, in quanto sembra una Paphiopedilum.

mi ero distratto a fare gli auguri...
sui riflessi avete ragione, ma sul taglio direi proprio che va bene così, con uno sviluppo del fiore così largo, i petali laterali che seguono le diagonali e... uno sfondo così interessante...

Grazie a tutti per il passaggio e i commenti e consigli. La foto è stata fatta in una serra dove hanno fatto una mostra di parecchie specie di orchidee, abbiamo avuto mezz'ora di tempo nella pausa pranzo per fare qualche scatto senza gente intorno. Un saluto a tutti

Lo scatto è super, il riflesso a parer mio crea un volume che, personalmente, approvo.
Spesso schermare è corretto ma a volte potrebbe un poco appiattire il tutto.
