Fotografia scattata dall'alto della Torre della Rocca di Castell'Arquato . La costruzione del Palazzo risale al 1292 sul lato settentrionale della Piazza Monumentale . Al corpo centrale duecentesco si aggiunsero, verso la metà del 400, due corpi avanzati: la loggia dei "notari" e un'ala prospiciente la piazza.La scala esterna era già esistente alla fine del 200 ma ad essa furono aggiunti il parapetto e la corporatura. A tre piani, tutto in cotto, architettato a vaste profondi archi acuti, sormontato di una corona di merli a coda di rondine, finestre a sesto acuto illeggiadrite da fini merlettature e fregi anch'essi in cotto, lo sovrasta una torre a pianta pentagonale le cui pareti settentrionali accolgono due grandi orologi. Si accettano volentieri giudizi e critiche.
