Mi piacciono molto le ombre che accompagnano le morbide ondulazioni del terreno e questo, si sa, è la Val d'Orcia, ma trovo particolare e suggestiva la divisione del frame su due piani: il primo, in basso, con luce brillante ed il verde nelle sue gradazioni ombra - luce. Il secondo piano, più lontano, con tonalità di giallo e luce più morbida, più soffusa. A separare questi due piani, i due crinali con i cipressi, il primo da destra verso il centro, il secondo in direzione opposta.
