#abbandono San Martino di Licciorno, o quel che ne resta, è tra le più antiche chiese dell'entroterra di Lavagna, un luogo magico e suggestivo immerso nei boschi della Val Penna. Di origine romanica, è situata lungo l'antico cammino romano, che dalla frazione di Zolezzi portava a Vallepiana, sull'antica Via del Sale; fu eretta da monaci Benedettini dell'Abbazia di Borzone durante l'anno Mille per offrire ospitalità a viandanti e pellegrini. Ormai rimangono per lo più ruderi avvolti dalla vegetazione, ma resta un angolo davvero suggestivo, poiché pare che il tempo si sia fermato tutto lì attorno. Curiosa è la leggenda su di essa, nata forse proprio dal suo aspetto… pare che, adiacente alla chiesa, ci fosse anche un piccolo cimitero. Nei paesini limitrofi si era affermata sempre più la credenza che vi fossero davvero le anime dei defunti. Paesino isolato, cimitero isolato. E' presto fatto il classico gioco di spiriti, fantasmi e paure! Tutte fandonie? Mah, volle sperimentarlo una donna di Zolezzi (subito sottostante a Pratosopralacroce) e dar prova del proprio coraggio per sfatare questa credenza: il suo piano consisteva nel passar l'intera notte nel cimitero di S. Martino, da sola. Fu così che, al crepuscolo, si recò al cimitero portandosi il necessario per filare la lana e ingannare il tempo. La mattina seguente, chi andò a verificare l'esito della sua sfida, ebbe un'amara sorpresa e la “conferma” di tutte le peggiori ipotesi, trovandola morta nel camposanto, con il fuso impigliato nella gonna, ben conficcato per terra, vicino a una tomba…
