Io ho una 5d II e sto meditando sull'acquisto della versione non IS ma f/2.8
Fossi ricco acquisterei l'intera Canon ma per il momento defo fare delle scelte moooolto attente!

Ciao, ho avuto il 70-200 f4 liscio (ora in uso a mia mamma) ed attulmente ho il 70-200 2,8 L liscio, preso perchè faccio fotografie di ginnastica indoor, dove lo stop in più serve di più dell'IS. Per farla semplice sono entrambe due ottime ottiche, che nei diaframmi comuni hanno resa ottima e molto simile, senza cali su tutta l'estensione focale. Quello più pesante, ingombrante e costoso ha il vantaggio ovvio dello stop in più. A 2,8 rimane molto buono su tutta la gamma focale, anche su APS. Su questo formato, più che sul FF, si nota un lieve calo a 200mm a TA (sempre molto buono e stra-sufficiente per qualsiasi uso "reale") che migliora moltissimo già a 3,5 anche per i guardoni al 100%. Io alla fine ho scelto di usare il 2,8 per lo sport o per soggetti dinamici in scarsa luc in genere, mentre tengo come alternativa leggera il tamron 70-300 VC, soprattutto per i viaggi.
Hello, I had the 70-200 f4 smooth (now used to my mom) and I have the 70-200 2.8 L Current Vessel smooth, because I took pictures of indoor gym, where the extra stop is more of the SI . To put it simply they are both two very good optics, which in common diaphragms have good results and very similar, without falling over the entire focal length range. The heavier, bulky and expensive has the obvious advantage of the stop in more. A 2.8 remains very good on the whole focal range, even on APS. In this format, rather than on FF, there is a slight decrease to 200mm at room temperature (always very good and strategic enough to use "real") dramatically improves already to 3.5 for the voyeurs at 100%. I end I chose to use the 2.8 for sport or for dynamic players in poor luc in general, while I hold as the Tamron 70-300 VC lightweight alternative, especially fortravel.
