Wow!
P.s. how did you not perform post production? That is, if you shoot in RAW you have to develop it in some way and even "without touching the parameters" you're doing a post production at the moment you turn into JPG or other format.
If you did the JPG from the camera she did it.
I ask for this because they often tell me "give me the photo without post production" and I do not know what to answer .
Cmq a 10k Euro lens for a portrait, it's money well spent if that's the outcome! :)

Yellowstone77 for post production I meant no correction of any kind in any photo retouching software, simply photo taken in jpeg (and not raw) from the machine, the file downloaded to the computer and then posted here.
I also wanted to add that the lens in question is not mine but I tried it during a tour organized by Canon Italia and as you know they provide both machine and optical bodies and that day among the optics that was available to the test there was this 600 IIIs Erie that I wanted to try out of curiosity, a model who was present in the room I photographed her and having little space to make a whole figure I shot about 5 or 6 meters from her taking only her face.
I would never have bought a 10k Euro lens to take portraits :-D :-D :-D

Spectacular really mamma mia, I just wonder what, at 600 mm are kept the real proportions of the face? In the sense that as a wide angle distorts the face in a portrait maybe even a supertele to a lesser extent does it....however...super really

Ah ok the post production made the machine for you while generating the JPG. (What did you use? Portrait ?)
Beh cmq the opportunity to try such a lens was delicious and the result is pleasant . You made a great MAF but the PDC is very low for obvious reasons.

Yellowstone77 I did not use portrait mode but only manual mode. You are right the opportunity was gluttonous to try the lens, even if that is not the exact context to try it :-) but it was worth it. I agree with you on the MAF, of course the PDC is very low as you rightly noted. I would have liked to try this wonderful optics in my favorite sector and that is on the track but unfortunately Canon has never organized events like this here in Sicily at the moment.

Thanks for the comments, Peppe Cancellieri you were the 600 ;-) Confirm! As already written in the previous comments I would have preferred to try it during a motorcycle race on the track, but unfortunately only in that event inside a hall. Anyway it was worth it as I liked the result.

A great portrait, in my opinion; beautiful light on the face and hair, beautiful look and lips, and the rapid blurred immediately behind. [only perplexity for nails] .

Thanks Giacopa and Merak.dubhe for the compliments, in fact I also noticed that the nail is not in focus.
