Actually I did not do anything about that, I only used the curves make the photo less veiled and I cloned a stain due to flare. The atmosphere was really this. Also because I wouldn't be able to make a "very pushed" development... :-D

Questo è verissimo in senso assoluto!!
Però, dal mio punto di vista il camoscio appenninico non è un soggetto poi così scontato: non ha il fascino del predatore, sicuramente, ma è un endemismo dell'Appennino Abruzzese, con una popolazione totale inferiore ai 3000 individui, è bellissimo, maestoso e spettacolare; oltretutto, è impossibile, salvo rarissime episodiche eccezioni, trovarlo a poche centinaia di metri dai luoghi in cui si arriva in macchina (di solito si devono affrontare oltre un'ora di cammino e almeno 500 metri di dislivello per raggiungere il branco, ma spesso tempi e distanze sono anche del doppio, perciò aspettare il tramonto significa scendere col buio), e nemmeno questo rende certa la foto, perché spessissimo il branco si è rifugiato in posti inaccessibili, messo in fuga da escursionisti con cani lasciati liberi di scorrazzare, dal volo troppo basso di un elicottero o da altre cause.
Preciso questo non perché voglia autoelogiarmi, ma perché mi è capitato troppe volte di arrivare in vetta e vedere andare in fumo tutta la fatica per comportamenti scorretti e assolutamente vietati in un parco nazionale, davanti ai quali resta solo un frustrante senso di impotenza.
