My 1st Rumina sent on April 12, 2019 (19:27) by Fulvio Lagana'. 40 comments, 1395 views. [retina]

, 1/400 f/10.0, ISO 200, tripod. Riserva Naturale Regionale Foce Isonzo, Italy. Specie: Zerynthia polyxena

Despite the unfavorable weather conditions you got a good detail anyway. Try again and you will find the ideal conditions to photograph it at its best!

Hello Fulvio, first you have been very good at finding such a butterfly because when he is resting on the grass stems is very mimetic, you did well to write the caption because I grow rich ie I would never have said that the mouths of the Tagliamento there were the poljxene. For me you have done a beautiful shot, I really like the composition you have performed, idem for colors and light, as good as ever
Hello Fulvio, nice night and good weekend :-) :-)

A work performed in a perfect, well-defined subject on a great background. Lights and colors at the top.

Beautiful Fulvio!
I saw her in The same place, but I never managed to bring home a picture as I say.
Congratulations, Hello, Alessandro

The wind is a big problem for those who treat this kind of photography, but it seems to me that you can feel satisfied for the good result. Only flaw in my opinion is the composition, where if possible I would have placed more right the whole.

Hello Fulvio, finally you broke the ice with this beautiful butterfly, is not uncommon, but is very localized, lives only where there is the Aristolochia, the only plant that feeds the caterpillar. Congratulations for the photo, for the composition I agree with Pier. Happy Weekend, Hello Fabrizio

Thanks friends, it's actually a bit unbalanced, but on the left there were other dry shrubs a bit unsightly... However I will post another shot a little ' more moved to the right and a bit ' more ' overexposed :-)
