Cute idea! However, informed (I unfortunately do not remember how): there is an option in the stacking programs that allows you to keep the segments of the stars without make them dashed as in this photo, but still. Are dashed because every minute space is the temporal distance of a photo on the other (the time of the machine which produced the shot and just did what before shooting later). Mind you I am not an expert, I could be wrong ... but I hope to be helpful ... ;-)

It's called "Gap Filling" here I 've used but is not always effective because after the 10 automatic shots must re-press the' Shutter ...

I realized as soon as possible mettermici I want to do these photos .. for now I only know a little 'theory! :-) I did not know he had limited effectiveness ... (What program did you use?)

nice idea, shame about the cut to close the gaps between the stars bastrebbe a remote control.

if you use a programmable remote that does not happen

ciao
Andrea

I do not understand ... but exposure times have you used?
with the remote wire you can block up to the time when you want ... or not!
read the manual it says the bulb

if you can not, but it seems strange, you can remove the setting "Reduce noise for long exposures" (I think you call it) so it does not take too to save on the card ... But then you have to do it in PP

I read about these problei and the need for special software to join them, but the period soooooo long!

hello
Andrea

Ciaoo

Lovely view :-) I do not want :-|, looking in Hi-Res on the right edge of the window seems too "sharp" as if he had been selected in PP to make a montage ...

well ... then a total of 2 minutes
why did not you made of 2 minutes straight? .. with precisely the bulb or bulp?
you are in control wire? or the remote control? ... I do not know that accessories have the 1100D:-P

Eeeek!!!

perchè no ? ;-)

I have read just now:
Andrea's Startrail not done posing B. ..
wow!

why not? ;-)
the bulb need to go beyond the 30 seconds that proposes the camera xome ime maximum settable
in B bulp or hold the button down as you want and the shutter stays open ... obviously it is better to have the remote control to avoid camera shake!

Obviously, as I said above, if you exceed the 60 seconds you can have problems with pixels that are hot and you find them red, green or blue:-D ... for this we use the SW special (but do not know them)
but pictures like the one above I would quietly in a single click ;-)

A king judges the arc described by the stars is more than just a 2-minute pose ;-)

Congratulations, sometimes you do not need to have who knows what equipment to take pictures of interesting

It's called "Gap Filling" here I 've used but is not always effective since after the 10 automatic shots must re-press the' shutter ...

As I understand are 10 shots below using continuous shooting, then waste time rischiacciare the shutter -> gap in the strip
So would 80 shots of 15 seconds and 8 8-)

EDIT: If you see the photo in high resolution over the large gap is seen that the strip is made up of 10 small segments almost (but not quite) joined together

alla faccia !!!
mi sa che in un equivalente scatto singolo, i pixel prenderebbero fuoco ! MrGreen

to the face!
I know that an equivalent single shot, the pixels would take fire! :-D

@Voodoo: Grazie mille :)

@ Voodoo: Thank you very much :)

@ Andrew: How did you caught voodoo are exactly 8 September 10 shots in series, so a total of 80 shots. I just think a bulb would give me so enduring a beautiful white frame xD. So I really do not know how you could do to make a similar Startrail with a single exposure ...
