Immersed in Color Lessinia sent on December 14, 2012 (12:03) by Robb1672. 13 comments, 1980 views.

, 1/60 f/13.0, ISO 100, tripod.

Quindi commenti e suggerimenti sempre graditi...Ciao

the composition I do not mind!
but I find the whole frame very bright and too MDC.
I think the style has e'identico to that of snowlover ;-)
if I were you 'I'd try to find your own style .. servira'a that stand out and give uniqueness.

a greeting

Roberto Bravo!
Truly a wonderful view.
As you said Integra, eye brightness is a little excessive, and sharpen a bit aggressive. I also note that the profile of the Monte Tomba (bottom right) has a halo to fix.

Do not worry about style, your will, first it is important to know the basics and shooting techniques and management of the file, and you're doing great, the improvements are obvious.
Manage 18 shots all together and harmonize them is not so simple, especially when the middle is the pano head and everything that goes with it.
Those who have studied this kind of shooting know how much work is behind. ;-)

I renew thecompliments here!

I find the right interventions Integra and Snowlover brightness. It 'a widespread conviction that often a picture should be clear for "pleasure".
In the pano in particular this is not true, because the angle is large and the variations of light and shade are always part of the natural scene is shot ...
Good pano, Marco

I find this very harmonious composition with the sun on one side and the rocks in the foreground with snow that the balance on the other. Considering how much work is behind a shot like this, I would say that the result is significant, of course, Nicola has more experience in this area, but it is precisely from field tests that will improve and you seem to have a good level! :-)
The sharpen is actually excessive and I'm not pushing for an adjustment of brightness, but these are all things that you can adjust.
Known finally a sort of "curvature effect" of the pan, for which the portion with the sun seems a little 'in "drop-down" compared to the right side: the end result is a sort of rotation to the left, but not uniform. I'm not a technical expert pano, so I do not know if I've seen good and if the effect of si can still correct in post ...
Overall then a good job, in which I see one of those dear to Nicholas, but still a style that is personal and distinctive enough. ;-)
Hello, Alberto.

@ Roberto: advice Alberto keep them in mind, and hack treasure ;-)

As regards distortion, say my .. knowing the place (actually to be precise, I at that time I was taking this photo:
www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?t=313228&l=it by the very Malghetta that you can see down there almost in the shadow ... :-D)

distortion is evident, and some is undoubtedly due to the effect pano, so you can improve .. In fact, the clouds look, you see that are not well aligned on the horizon? Here, a little can reduce this optical effect.
On the other hand, if you keep in mind that the far right of the frame is in the area of ??Lake Garda at 65m above sea level, and the rightto 1.800mt (top Sparavieri) we understand that the sun has its lowest since ;-)

Continue to experiment and you'll see that the Lessinia will give you a thousand and more satisfaction

Hello Alberto, thank you for your passage and analysis on the distortion very careful ;-)

I think I stuck my nose in an industry that does discuss: fconfuso: ;-) but since the weather outside is just to escape some
from work, I asked a version a little warmer than the previous hoping to please the eye of the most ;-)

Thanks for the comments, luggage useful to improve!

The image is certainly beautiful, some aspects you have been given great advice, I would come to draw attention to something else, in this situation we have a backlight but the shadows are very sharp wide open, and I think this takes away a lot of depth to the image ;-)

@ Andrew: thanks for your step ;-) I must say that I was dragged by Nicola "Snowlover" in this kind of panoramic photos. It 's the first time that I attempt a shot like that and I realize, of course with the difficulties of the case: multi exhibitions, assemble multiple photos, the light, etc. .... so many things to handle for one photo! The program for the assembly of PTGui is panoramic and working with layers and masks in Photoshop. All the best, Roberto
