f/3.5,

La mia prima foto del triangolo invernale fatta con NikonD3200, 18mm, F3,5, ISO3500, 13sec. Luogo dello scatto: Colle Vaccera (Luserna S.Giovanni) Torino. Mi piace da morire l'astronomia e quindi l'astrofotografia ma per ora non ho altro che una Reflex per scattare qualche foto. Accetto consigli su come migliorare la foto e come fare per progredire! Ciao e grazie!

Bella, in this photo there is little to improve that's fine, if to progress you intend to buy something that allows you to try something more pushed if you can talk :-D

Thank You so much for your comment! Actually I realize that the first step is to buy, I think, a tracker. What would You recommend?
Thanks, bye!

I have an astrotracker the Skywatcher Adventure for about a year and a half, I would say that allows you to take a lot of satisfaction even with goals not too pushed say between 20 and 200 mm.

Yes, I know him! I would plan to buy it, I went on the internet to see how it works, but they started talking about dark shots, flat, bias, light... And since I do not even know what they are (I start from scratch), the thing has a bit ' displaced.. I tried to inform myself on the net but I have not found complete explanations for beginners about it.

Look, you were really thorough and especially kind for the explanation! Great!
I'll only make you 1 question.. You said the dark must be taken at the same temperature... Excuse my ignorance... By temperature you mean the ambient temperature? And so if you, are to do or immediately after all the light shots or a dark for each light in succession?
Thank you very much!!!!!!

In General, you do at the end of the session after the light, the good ones do at the beginning and at the end, temperature means the one you made the evening if the room has made the light at 0 degrees dark you do them to 0 degrees , I am happy to have been of help, unfortunately not always find who answers you, often those who know does not say or speak in terms too technical, for what little I know help willingly.

:-P In fact I almost have the impression that it is a somewhat exclusive environment from that point of view... Who knows if he keeps it or explains it so generally that in the end you know as soon as possible. For my part, if I am passionate about one thing, I really like to share with others and discuss it...
in a while then I think I will buy the Astro tracker of the Sky watcher, so I'll try to go beyond simple photography without chasing.
Thanks again and maybe we will be resent. ;-)

I do Not know the mini I think there Ballino €80 get the normal one brings more weight and is more robust, I would recommend you wait to buy the equatorial base that makes enough penalty is outgoing a new base that costs €260 but just to see it you understand that it is well built.

Hello Stefano, today I tried to do the calibration of the polar telescope of the star adventure. At a distance of about 10 meters I put an object of 1 cm in diameter so as to simulate a beautiful diatanza. I aimed the object at the center of the Crossroads del Cannochiale, after which I turned the Mount AR 180 ° on one side and then on the other. It seems to Me that the object remained in the center.. I just noticed that it is impossible not to have shifts due however to micro movements of the head! I noticed that just a little movement to slightly change the position of the object. So I wonder how it is possible to do a perfect calibration since you can not eliminate those movements there.. I think you may notice flaws only if the displacement is quite noticeable.. What do you think?

I never did from so close, the object was small if you could appreciate any movement OK, the movements are also caused by your forcing to rotate the axle and micromotions of the tripod (Welcome to the world of Arc/sec) :-D, if you want to avoid it do So, close the axle by locking it and instead of rotating it manually put at 12x speed, you do not have to hurry because to do half a turn takes about 1 hour, if you look in the telescope see that it is in practice a clock with 12 hours every hour lasts 2 hours at the speed of 12x viable Re an hour in 10 minutes, even I at the end by rotating I had a minimum displacement but it is acceptable

Ah OK.. Then you come back! Displacements of 1 millimeter but you could not know if they were due to the movements of the eye.. CMQ you gave me a nice idea of the 12x! So I actually avoid even the movements due to the hand that turns the AR.
Cmq If even if it was rotating half a turn there was a small defect in calibration.. I'm talking little.. 1 mm.. you would see exactly after half a turn and that is 12 hours of exposure! When I think that at Max doing various shots you make it x 1 now, it would be impossible to see flaws.. I don't know if I explained

In Fact, at max shots for 2/3 hours, it becomes an error we say negligible, certainly wanting to squeeze the tool to the max, we tend sometimes to expect what the tool can not do, the error increases with longer focal lengths, from 200 mm up.

Today I did as you said.. Put the 12x to check the scope calibration. I checked in the viewfinder for an hour.. I watched every 2 or 3 minutes and the point I was aiming at was always perfectly in the center
