La foto documenta il passaggio veloce di un treno nelle campagne in località "Passu Funnutu",lungo la Valle del Platani, nei pressi della stazione di Campofranco (CL), poco dopo il risporante "Fontanafredda". Si tratta del treno proveniente da Palermo e diretto ad Agrigento. La rocca che si intravede nello sfondo è il Monte San Paolino, ai cui piedi vi è il piccolo paese di Sutera (provincia di Caltanissetta).
