All'interno dello splendido edificio cinquecentesco "Palazzo Volta" soggiornò lo scienziato fisico Alessandro Volta, inventore della pila. Da poco ristrutturato ed inaugurato, Palazzo Volta è oggi la sede dell'Amministrazione Comunale. Fa da cornice uno splendido giardino fiorito.
