Le nave arrivò a Ravenna ormai undici anni fa da Sebenico con un carico di pietrame calcareo diretto al terminal della Fassa Bortolo. Venne fermata per una questione di sicurezza: mancava un'abilitazione. Non si mosse piu perché nel tempo si sono accumulati debiti e sequestri conservativi fino al punto da non essere più appetibile per l'armatore. È in stallo in un limbo. Il codice della navigazione consente l'intervento dell'autorità per ragioni di sicurezza se c'è intralcio alla navigazione o rischi ambientali: Ormai non è più appetibile nemmeno da rottamare, noi andiamo di tanto in tanto ad osservarla in un atmosfera surreale con una marea di gabbiani che ai nostri passi si alzano in volo.
