I find it not easy to compose a self-portrait, I tried a few times, but my expressions never satisfied me 100%, failing, personally to be spontaneous.

Trovo non sia facile comporre un autoritratto, ho provato qualche volta, ma le mie espressioni non mi hanno mai soddisfatto al 100%, non riuscendo, personalmente ad essere spontaneo.
Se lo hai proposto evidentemente tu ti ci sei trovato, ecco quindi cosa vedo: Un carattere deciso, esigente, che tende alla perfezione. Ma potresti aver giocato ad interpretare questo ruolo. Magari sei invece, un mattacchione. 
Carattere a parte. Il ritratto mi piace: ben composto con colori, luci e sfondo che suggeriscono un'immagine rinascimentale.
A differenza di molti altri tuoi ritratti, più ravvicinati nei quali hai spesso tagliato la sommità della testa, mi piace questo sia a cranio intero
