Beautiful as ever, Mike. Do you think can increase the focal over the 2400, maybe with a 3x Barlow, or do you think the seeing does not hold up....?

I have a Sky Watcher Rifrattorino, Evostar 72 ED But I'm not a fan of astrophysics. I do other or at least, since I do not know anything about photography and I knew nothing of refractors, I am thrown into this technique... But this photo is simply awesome :-o
Thanks for giving me the illusion of hearing Neil Armstrong

Thanks to everyone and thanks also to the seeing that allowed me to do this photo:)
Marco with the 3x I would have exaggerated because the ASI 178 has pixels from 2.4 um and probably oversample a lot. Surely the focal result of the recovery is greater than 2400 mm.
I did a test with a friend's tele, always a 300 mm but with ASI 174. The 174 has pixels of double size compared to mine. He using a 5x has slightly larger images than mine.
to give you a certain answer I should have a seeing that let me use the 3x:)
