Emblematic..... same scene that is seen when the Queen passes to Buckingham Palace. Now more mobile than SLR. Congratulations for the moment caught

Caterina... I have some really similar that I have never published! :-D :-D :-D
But I tried to isolate the single smartphone and to show the Mona Lisa through it! ;-)
Turning back, instead, I had snapped this: ;-)

Thank you Angelo, Bennyumbo, Marco, Luci and Carlo :-)
Thanks Alberto, I was sure I was not alone :-D :-D I took many shots in the museums of Paris both clutching on the devices that remaining wider, the most sympathetic image, which I will soon insert, is of a group of Asians in front... indeed behind the Venus of Milo.
Good day, hello

It seems to me that the human tendency is portrayed here to adapt to the common thought: The Louvre also contains other masterpieces, but they do not recall the crowds. I come to mind phenomena like that of the balcony of Palazzo Venezia.
I have seen other photographs animated by the same intention of this, but this in my eyes is more eloquent. I like it better.
A cordial greeting

Thanks Altenmich :-) always interesting your comments, I agree with your ossevazione, the shot would also highlight the increasingly frequent use of distorted photography as a testimony. Today it is more important to show the trophy, to share the presence in a place or an event that live and understand the experience, the whole is reduced to a sterile hunt that can sometimes take on grotesque aspects, I did not want to document photographically, by choice, the He crush in front of the mummy's case to make a selfie...
A Dear Greeting

Ciao

I've never been to the Louvre... But is it always so?
No Because then I prefer to remain in my "ignorance" and leave for Woods. ;-)
Ignorance quotes because I'm not sure who it really is, whether I or anyone who enjoys a work of art that way.
Interesting document Catherine.

Grazie Micio Sorriso

Ciao

Beautiful story...... all to Guaradare and photograph (by way of saying....) The Mona Lisa, not seeing that behind them is the painting of the Veronese "Le nozze di Cana" which is simply gorgeous! (without taking anything away from Gioconda.... ;-)) !!!!

It wasn't always like that... I saw her at the distance of about 100 cm, and there was only one balustrade to divide from the public.
Certainly today better take a walk in the forest with the dog.. The fruition of the work is nothing in those conditions.. Just being able to say that you have it. Glimst!!

Congratulations Catherine,
Beautiful image Document of our... days.
When I visited the Louvre I in the room of "Gioconda" was strictly forbidden to photograph and the visitors could only pass in a kind of "corridor", carved with barriers, without even being able to stop in front of the picture.
Of course, where it is allowed to photograph, is increasingly difficult to do with a camera: you always find dozens and dozens of people with the mobile phone in hand between the "subject" of your interest and the... reflex! :-D
A loving greeting,
Paolo
