f/9.0, tripod.

Cieli sereni a tutti!

Congratulations on your first attempt. I always say that I should start to move a few steps in astrophotography but then I never do. I probably don't get passionate enough though I really like to see these shots.
A greeting

Thank you!
for an amateur astronomer get a result even just discreet represents a great achievement, especially thinking of the hours sacrificed in the cold to chase, control, adjust, pin, assemble and disassemble the instrumentation!
In fact you need to be moved by a great passion, big and expensive, telescope, mount, engines and PC pointing, CCD camera or reflex suitable, modified, cooled, various softwares, In short, a discreet investment! But, however... when you immortals a nebula so, distant more than 1000 light years, where the powders form the stars, stars that maybe will give life to solar systems, equal and different from ours, well, it does a certain effect! And it makes you think, astronomy opens your mind like a few other subjects!
Thanks for the ride, bye!

A really good job! I agree with your message above and I must say that I do not miss the passion for nothing! For now lacking the money but with the little I have, are always waiting for a beautiful evening with clear skies and serene to pass under the most beautiful panorama, for me, to admire and photograph.
But then for this photo you had to do Autoguida? Even for 25 seconds is it necessary?

Hello! Thank you!
No, no self-guidance, I cited it for my old attempts with film of many years ago with long poses; But for this photo I just perfectly stationed the frame and propelled the pursuit of the GPDX vixen which proves extremely accurate, at least until About thirty seconds.

Thanks for the explanation Andrea! 30 seconds on a focal of 1800 are very good from what I understand. Mistake? It means that by montandoci on a optic tube with a minor focal or directly camera with lens you can safely overcome the minute and a half?

I honestly do not know, I managed to get stellar circles still spherical up to a minute and a half without correcting; You have to try, pinning the various attempts to remind you.
Hello, Andrea.
