Ispirata alle versioni 300 SL e 300 SLR... la 190 SL venne prodotta dal 1954 in diverse Serie di cui questa raffigurata è la II° costruita dal 1955 al 1963 sia in versione Coupé che in quella Roadster. Dotata di un motore a 4 cilindri in linea di 1900 cm3 erogante 105 cavalli poteva superare i 170 chilometri orari.
