Giuseppe; come appare evidente a tutti, a realizzare queste tue fotografie non c'è solo la tua maestria tecnica ed il tuo raffinato buon gusto. Come ho già avuto modo di scriverti, c'è un amore che eleva la bellezza dello “still life” alla nobiltà ed all'intensità espressiva del ritratto.

Al proposito non resisto al desiderio di sottoporti una mia più estesa riflessione riguardante una ulteriore e più ampia collocazione della tua opera. Spero che non ti appaia come “fuori tema”, poiché parto dal considerare la produzione di alcune immagini di altri autori. Parlo di autori che amo molto che fanno fotografie di un genere diverso dal tuo. Autori che pongono temi esistenziali, domande metafisiche, talora con la sofferente denuncia della solitudine della condizione umana. Sono, in certi casi, opere di grande valore dalle cui questioni mi sento profondamente coinvolto per il comune viaggio nella vita. Opere che mi appassionano. Quando le guardo mi chiedo sovente se, per loro, per noi, esista una risposta se non esaustiva (cosa, temo, impossibile) almeno consolatrice. Una risposta eventualmente non filosofica, non scientifica, non necessariamente religiosa. Forse una carezza.
La mia interrogazione percorre diverse strade, sino a quando tra le gallerie di JuzaPhoto non ritrovo la tua, dedicata interamente e teneramente ai tuoi fiori, fedele negli anni. Lì il mio interrogarmi ed il mio pensare si sospendono quasi senza che io me ne accorga, nell'incanto dello sguardo e nella percezione dell'incrollabilità del sentimento trasmesso. Proprio quella mi colpisce.

Allora penso che tra le risposte possibili per noi umani la tua meriti attenzione anche in qualità di risposta esistenziale. Perché è praticabile. Perché parla di una bellezza che si oppone alla sconsolatezza. Perchè dalla tua devozione ai fiori, oggetto di un amore quasi dolcestilnovistico per la loro beltà, emerge un più ampio e generale concetto di amore che quasi trascende il suo oggetto. Ecco, proprio quello. Forse stiamo parlando di un fiore angelicato.
Chi guarda i tuoi ne riceve una carezza.
