Lights in the Night...

Marocco

at 14mm, 30 sec f/5.0, ISO 1600, tripod.

Commenti e critiche sempre ben accette. #Notturno #Night #Lungheesposizioni #LongExposure #Luci #Lights #Strade #Roads #Startrail #Nightphotos #Cielistellati

Shot of considerable technical difficulty, starting from the Startrail but even more to capture good trails that are not excessively burnt. I would say that the shot came definitely well, even considering the good lighting dosed perfectly on the rock. The place is very interesting and lends itself well and this kind of shot. Excellent focus, sharpness and composition.
Bravo.

What a pleasure to read your beautiful words, this is my first startrail and I do not deny that the process has been quite complicated, at least for my abilities, especially with regard to the wake of the lights, but you know, everything is experience. I am very pleased to receive your approval, thank you very much!!!

You're right Dear Claudio, unfortunately you find out when you already came home and if it is not coming you bite your fingers because going back to that location is quite complicated. Among other things this was my first experiment of startrail in which I had to combine also several shots for the trails of cars, in short, for me it was a start uphill but in the end I'm satisfied with the result. I've already started processing another fact at Ait-Ben-Haddou that I hope to be able to upload shortly.
Thank You so much for your appreciation and visit!!!

Phenomenal shot in a wonderful place. Beautiful light Trail, great work on the sky, I had to do a picture like that I do not know where to start!

Giammarco, Ernesto, Cris, heartfelt thanks for the beautiful words, I am very happy to receive your approval!!!
I can only imagine the work that is behind it! /QUOTE Cris, surely you have to work a lot on the field to get the shots for the startrail, for that it takes only time and patience, for the trails of cars it also takes the luck that you pass at least one vehicle (realize that I started shooting after midnight) to succeed To have a strip of lights continues along the entire route (not enough only one exposure, here were 6 shots). Then of course there is the work in post, the Union of the shots for the sky basically is an automatic procedure, on the contrary for the trails is all to do by hand selecting the right shots, then as you say a job, but if it comes well from satisfaction :-D.

So many compliments! I really like the composition and the realization is also remarkable.
I'd have two questions for you, since I'd like to experiment with city/landscape photographs at night, but I don't know the subject at all.
Does
Does the photography you made (in addition to the merger for startrail and for the creation of a continuous wake) require advanced and complicated postproduction techniques, or standard adjustments from Camera Raw?
Use some special measures to reduce noise, because I was amazed by the absence of noise and the sharpness you managed to achieve.

Hello Francis, first of all thank you very much for the beautiful words you wrote, I was very pleased to read them. As for the post, let's say that in PS I went there for the fusion of images for the sky (the shots had previously been merged with starstax) and for the car skis, I did a little cleaning work cloning the noise elements and an increase sharpness. All images had been processed in a standard way with LR (I'm not used to using raw camera). For the reduction of noise on the sky I made 5 dark frame shots while for the rest of the frame I fused selected shots doing the average (level->advanced objects->method series of images->average) the rest put it on 14-24.
I wish you a good evening!!!

I would say that it takes courage to express criticism in the face of such a superb work.
I'm just my compliments.
There's a lot of work behind it, but a lot of satisfaction.
Bravissimo ;-) Sandro
