Unbelievable how the simplicity of a scene can be grasped by restoring a surreal dimension; The sky then, perhaps for a "negative effect" of the house on that clear fascia, returns a feeling of impending action, as if something were in suspense and could happen at any moment, but not something material, such as rain, something Immaterial, maybe just a psychological sensation... I wouldn't know how else to describe it.

Simone, it's very very beautiful.
tells those stories of plain, of once. And it does so delicately, without the message being less strong.
I like crazy the Poplars "fade" and the lines on the ground.
The figure that can be seen in the background initially disturbed me a bit, but observing for a long time seems instead to match the story and the title.
Congratulations ;-)
David

A "courageous" composition with a lot of sky and the house perfectly in the center of the frame that, in my view, I find to be effective for the story you want to narrate. A BN made from dissolvals and delicate contrasts that contribute to convey a nice atmosphere. Perhaps, for personal taste, I would have tried to highlight a little more (just. Just), the rows of poplars in the background.

Hello Commissioner, this photo would be printed in large, very big.
I find that you have developed the photo very well succeeding in evoking this sense of eternity that has this cottage, adorable the poplars that are barely glimpses.
The human presence disturbs me, because at a first wide glance seems a speck, then understanding what it is can also be there, but in an overview jars a little.
Of course is just my opinion and among other things this little detail does not go to affect the overall beauty of this photo.
Congratulations.
Giorgio.

@Daniele

@Sergio

Ciao, Alberto.

The photo is really beautiful... makes you think and reflect... The human presence for me is absolutely essential to complete the story, the only thing is that maybe I would have preferred a little more distant from the cottage.. But in reality these are only marginal aspects because when you see a picture and it strikes you I think you have reached the goal, as in this case.
Bravo!

The preview in Activities Friends not Auita, the opens on the trust :-D but then it is worth it, a good image I agree with the House in a central position and the choice of high tone, a little ' readability in the trunks of poplars there is, the figure graphically for me is D I too, as a narrative can stand us but we are in the details.
Congratulations, Hello
Ps I wrote before the last 3 interventions ;-) :-D

Alberto, Massi thank you very much. :-P
Alberto I have to be honest, as soon as I saw the raw I didn't even want to develop it. I liked the composition but the light and the colors were really worthwhile. Then I tried in BN and I started to fiddle with the sliders of the channels, pulled to the Max blacks and Shadows and has literally morphed. He thinks the clarity here is almost to the max. Even now I wonder how I pulled out those clouds that from the raw could not even be seen, and thinks that there is still margin wanting.

I too, Catherine before yours. :-D
I'll add you to the list of thanks, I am very pleased. ;-)
on the human figure I will take this into account in the future, I think this the mold and hang it in the house.. I don't know where but somewhere I hang it :-D

I told you that the first merit was yours, to believe in the potential of the scene!

The central subject is sometimes an excellent solution x get to a direct reading X who observes
Xro It takes a functional subject and I have to say that you did center ;-) plus you put everything else :-D
Good job
