Stexplorers: Electronic Memory sent on January 29, 2019 (9:16) by Jacopo Pasqualotto. 2 comments, 481 views. [retina]

at 60mm, 1/4000 f/4.2, ISO 3200, tripod.

ILLUMINAZIONE: Tavolo luminoso in verticale.

Hi Jacopo!
Your series on the Scout expresses a great creativity, an excellent use of the medium, and in general I find that it is a series of still life really cool. Also for the call to the theme sci-fi.
Unfortunately, and I regret it because I know it will not be popular as an intervention, I have to tell you that in my opinion the use of high ISO in order to add atmosphere is not really a good choice. If I were you, I would try to use ISO base and add grain in post-production. In this case, in fact, there is a lot of chroma noise, in the foreground, or on the 3 transparent of the cases, which in my opinion disturbs a little the quality of the image that instead from the executive point of view is very high.
still have fun and good work, as usual :-D

Hi, thank you. For my mental Pippa I do post only in the car and save in JPG avoiding the raw, this because I want to enhance the capabilities of the reflex I'm using. And from here comes the use of high ISO and its noise: necessary, invasive, but very pleasant!
