This Terra Nostra garden in Furnas is probably the most prominent, very old, the best organized and well planned botanic garden in the world. I have seen the botanic gardens in Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, some in Italy, some in Lisbon, of coarse in Warsaw (near Kabaty forest is this one bigger and very well organized, you can visit it when you come to Warsaw). But Terra Nostra is much much more attractive. It is not a garden for fun and not for children. More you can find in the internet. One of the reason is a specific climat, temp ca 24 deg., stable during the whole year and keeping the moisture at high level. It is under a very careful care of experts, is cleaned regularly. The visitors are gentle.

How much natural beauty you have enclosed in this image. For personal taste in PP I would have given a veil of brightness.

I have just uploaded a new version of this photo to the same gallery (all photos) with different PP.

Of the two versions, this is the best. It reminds me of the illustrations of my school books on geological eras, it seems to have been transported to the Carboniferous with a time machine. Great!

Dear Nemo

The endemic flora in Acores is like in Europe many many years ago, that is true.
It is seen on some of my photos eg Misterios Negros area
But this garden shows the flora from all the world. The garden is designed with great culture.

Great thanks for your visit and this interesting remark.
