La foto è una composizione di scatti fatta da un drone DJI Spark a circa 70 metri d'altezza, fatta giusto per far vedere il nostro percorso verso la Caldera Blanca, che è la seconda delle due bocche vulcaniche sullo sfondo. Il sentiero è quella striscia più chiara, che parte da in alto a sinistra (parcheggio) e termina ai piedi della seconda bocca. Se decideste di farvi un giro, la camminata dura un paio d'ore, qualcosa in più o meno, relativamente al vostro carico e al vostro allenamento, io avevo circa 15kg di attrezzatura nello zaino e sono un "divanaro" cronico, quindi l'ho presa con calma. Portatevi scarponcini robusti e guardate dove mtette i piedi, perchè camminare sulla lava non è banale ed è facile inciampare o prender storte. La prima delle due caldere è visitabile all'interno, sulla seconda, invece, è possibile salire per percorrerne la circonferenza della bocca (anche se credo di aver intravisto un sentierino che scende nell'altra). Impressionante. Una passeggiata che vale comunque la pena di affrontare perchè dalla cima la vista è mozzafiato.
