La Corvette C 6... costruita dal 2005 al 2013... rappresentava l'evoluzione della precedente C 5 (1997-2004) e venne costruita nelle versioni Coupé (questa della fotografia), Roadster e Cabriolet (anche detta Convertibile). Inizialmente vi era alloggiato un propulsore V8 di 6000 cm3 erogante 400 cavalli che portavano la vettura a 300 chilometri orari poi... nel 2008... la cilindrata aumentò a 6200 cm3 portando così la potenza a 437 cavalli ed una velocità oraria di 327 chilometri. Ne furono anche costruite alcune serie speciali fra cui nel 2006 la C6 Z6 che era dotata di un motore "big block" (superiore a 6600cm3) V8 di 7000 cm3 erogante 505 CV mentre nel quadriennio 2010/2013 venne allestita la C6 ZR1 spinta da un motore turbocompresso di 6200 cm3 che erogava ben 647 cavalli.
