I "bbubbli bbubbli" sono i penitenti della congrega del Carmine, con la tradizionale tunica, cappello da pellegrino e cappuccio bianco con due esigui buchi per vedere. A Grottaglie ogni anno, per Pasqua, fanno "la scasata", cioè un pellegrinaggio scalzi per le vie del centro storico, toccando le maggiori chiese e fermandosi in preghiera ad ognuna di esse per un certo tempo.
