Monte Barro, -Lecco- guardando verso ovest, i laghi della Brianza (nell'ordine) di Annone (con il suo bacino doppio), Pusiano e Alserio. A sinistra i rilievi di Colle Brianza (il 'monte di Brianza') che è il rilievo che caratterizza la Brianza stessa, cioè il territorio compreso tra il corso del fiume Lambro (immissario del lago di Pusiano) ed il fiume Adda. A destra si distinguono il monte Cornizzolo (Curnisciöö nel dialetto locale, ed anticamente monte Pedale) ed il roccioso monte Rai (nessuna relazione con la nota soc. Radio Audizioni Italiane) dalla cui cima (monte Prasanto) spunta la torre di trasmissione della telecom. Nella valle parzialmente in ombra che scende tra Cornizzolo e m. Rai si distingue appena la bellissima abazia di San Pietro al Monte, un vero gioiello del romanico i cui primi corpi di fabbrica risalgono all'ottavo secolo ma che si fonda sulle strutture di una torre di sorveglianza tardo-romana. L'abazia è accessibile esclusivamente con un'ora di cammino lungo un'agevole mulattiera (la visita è assolutamente raccomandabile, la domenica è possibile visitare l'interno e la cripta ascoltando le spiegazioni dei volontari di Civate che ne curano il recupero/restauro/manutenzione ).
