Budapest a sad story sent on January 14, 2019 (13:54) by Annetta2. 24 comments, 673 views. [retina]

f/1.7, ISO 40,

Dear Emme, unfortunately I knew this horrible story to have seen the film dedicated to Giorgio Perlasca, who with his goodness saved about 6000 Jews during the last period of this page of history that should never be forgotten.
When I found myself in Budapest in front of that part of the Danube, and I saw the shoes, I was horrified by such cruelty, which in the aforementioned film is unfortunately described in a perfect way. Just for that I posted the photo. I made a lot of them but I chose this one: a pair of baby shoes. The Nazis and their allies were fierce beasts, they had no mercy for anyone.
Thank you for your visit and your consent.
As always a dear greeting to you too.
Annetta :-P

Thanks to you dear Emme, despite the terrible story, I am glad to have helped not to forget the Holocaust and to have given inspiration for the task of the son of your friend.
If you have never seen the movie "Giorgio Perlasca" I suggest. It's raw, cruel, but it deserves the vision.
to soon dear friend, Annetta

You are right dear friend, the human race disgusts me very much too, but my last trip to Budapest, made me touch these atrocities with my hand and I assure you that the Hungarians, I had nothing to envy to the Nazis :-(
Often the man looks like lamb, but then nothing but wolf!!!!!! .....
will post more photos of this trip as soon as I have time to review and correct them, as you know I use the smartphone, which certainly does not allow me to make good shots, but as I said to Cinzia, who is satisfied enjoys :-D
A dear hug :-)
