Infatti anche io sono incuriosito da quei cerchi, sembra l'effetto che si vede guardando la zigrinatura dello schermo di messa a fuoco, ma è impossibile che sia quello.

Hai coperto l'oculare per bene mentre scattavi ?
Se cosi' fosse e se hai usato un filtro, anche UV, i cerchi concentrici al centro della foto potrebbero essere semplicemente il risultato di un fenomeno diffrattivo.
Se non hai usato qualche lente aggiuntiva non so', aspettiamo qualcuno che ne sappia di piu'.

effettivamente ho usato un filtro uv per proteggere la lente,potrebbe essere come indicato da Oxyuranus un fenomeno difrattivo !!
Ma credetemi il momento e' stato da togliere quasi il fiato vista l'intensita' dell' aurora!!
