@ Francesco: the Park of the Adige is an area "protected" in Verona, there is a park in the north and one to the south (in this photo). The water you see is yes but here is the Adige from a channel for irrigation and is about to fall into the river, leaving the banks artificial. In this area you can spot various species of birds (egrets, herons, moorhens among the most easily observable).
