Spectacular sunset, I know that point but always in the daytime, with kids to bathe and fishing, so I had never seen.
Congratulations
Mat

Spectacular and well-taken sky. Excellent idea to put a foreground, in this case the elements with the waves just mentioned for the long exposure.
The only thing that does not convince me too much is the profile of the city so far in the background, but not knowing the place I do not know if there was the way to give him more importance and impact. Maybe you could shoot 50 meters further or 50 meters back increasing the focal, but as I said I do not know if it is possible.
Merry Christmas!

Thank you all.
The city/center is on the left. At the bottom of Valedo (neighbourhood near the centre). The sky was nice at that point then on the left there is a high wall. Forced potion that... besides there were very high waves (the wall left was wet by some wave)... with every now and then some "buckets" of water that arrived on the sidewalk.
If you can see that point, with the sea moved, you will understand;)
to take the city I would have to go on a promontory/area "Christ" but I would have lost all the effect along sea/fog effect... a whole other picture.

A very well composed shot. From the PDR, to the colors of the sky. Congratulations.

Thank you all! Apart from the story behind this photo (only the madman who has taken to the streets of Cuba reflex, kit filters ND and GND + Gitzo mountaineer)... just before the shooting I saw live a Japanese on the left side of the long sea centered by a wave. He walked with a 5d Mark IV + Canon 70-200 2.8 in his hand. I didn't see him in the backpack but he tilted it and water went out... that poor guy made a day. The next day they closed the promenade to the traffic cause waves

Congratulations on the realization, a moment managed at best. I appreciate the colors, composition, sharpness of the shot and the silk effect of the sea surface. Piero

Great shot!!! Really interesting composition and colors. Is it just my impression, or are the tones slightly "cold"? Congratulations. Hello. Gm
