Cosa ha lavorato contro un risultato ottimale?
-esasperazione del crop che a me pare addirittura un super-crop
-diaframma troppo aperto per quelle distanze (più il soggetto è vicino a noi più si riduce la profondità di campo)
-immagini sempre tendenti alla sovraesposizione
-non uso di diaframmi che enfatizzano la nitidezza (una regola non scritta suggerisce sempre di chiudere almeno di 2 stop dal valore di t.a.)

Consigli:
-se intervieni per ridurre il rumore digitale fallo solo sullo sfondo e non sul soggetto perchè perderesti il dettaglio.
-componi già nel pre-scatto
-sfrutta di più la priorità di diaframma: tu scegli la pdc e la nitidezza e non la reflex che avrà il compito di proporti un tempo di scatto.
Se il tempo di scatto lo ritieni non di sicurezza alzi gli iso e se gli alzi probabilmte potrai anche sottoesporre di 1/ o 2/3 di stop a seconda della situazione.
Il sensore interpreta la scena ma non sa che cosa tu vuoi fare o ottenere
-valuta l'uso di un'ottica più performante e poliedrica, se ti piace comporre in diretta abbraccia l'uso di un super zoom piuttosto di un super tele ... si al canon 100-400mm l is usm no al canon 300mm f.4.

Ciao e grazie della risposta, che mi ha dato molti ragguagli interessanti. Ho croppato al 45% . Non ho scelto diaframmi più chiusi perchè la luce purtroppo era un po' scarsina e io sono abbastanza allergico agli alti iso. Avrei potuto anche scattare a 1/125 ma poichè non avevo (e non uso treppiedi) temevo il mosso o il micromosso.
Ho apprezzato molto i tuoi consigli e credo prenderò la 7d.
Non avrebbe molto senso, non credi, vendere la mark IV per prendere la III. quanto poi alla 5 che è un full frame ancora meno, (per me).
Correggimi se sbaglio in questo confronto (io faccio solo foto naturalistica e la percentuale di altre foto di altra natura che scatto è inferiore all'1 per 1000.
7d con 400 f5.6 = portata tele da 640 mm. - peso totale grammi 2110 - prezzo totale 2240 euro
1d mark iv con 500 f4 per la stessa portata da 650 mm. - peso totale grammi 4420 (però occorrerà anche aggiungere un cavalletto) - prezzo totale 13900 €

Apprezzo molto quello che scrivi e i tuoi articoli tecnici di cui ti ringrazio perchè mi aiutano molto nella crescita e cercherò ancora di acquistare conoscenze nella post produzione dove sono poco ferrato (uso ancora un vecchio Paintshop della Jasc).
