Not hide that I had to work in post cut out the subjects to isolate them from a background quite confused with elements of disturbance in all fields.
The ladies were in fact seated on the edge of the cistern of San Gimignano, and behind them a myriad of people sitting there that impacted the framing. I liked the gestuality and expressiveness of the lady with the hat so I snapped equally trying not to attract attention.

Non nascondo che ho dovuto lavorarla in post scontornando i soggetti per isolarli da uno sfondo parecchio confuso con elementi di disturbo a tutto campo.
Le signore erano infatti sedute sul bordo della Cisterna di San Gimignano, e dietro di loro una miriade di gente seduta che impallavano l'inquadratura. Mi piaceva la gestualità e le espressività della signora con il cappellino pertanto ho scattato ugualmente cercando anche di non attirare l'attenzione.
Sono poco esperto di queste lavorazioni "spinte" che normalmente non faccio mai, ma in questo caso ci ho provato con ovviamente i limiti che possono esserne usciti.
