La Finlandia è un posto particolare: centinaia di persone assiepate per assistere alle prove sin dalle prime ore del mattino. Prove quasi completamente fruibili, che significa che spesso si può camminare in sicurezza per cambiare punti di ripresa per molte centinaia di metri (impossibile in Italia o al Montecarlo, giusto per fare un paragone). Commissari attentissimi e molto ben organizzati, anche piuttosto convincenti nel farsi rispettare. Ecco perché si paga per assistere alle prove (50 euro un pass che consente accesso a tutte le prove del rally, incluso il service Park per tutti i giorni e la premiazione), ed ecco perché in un rally su terra con medie attorno ai 130 km/h non succede praticamente mai nulla di funesto.
Ah, per la cronaca... L'unica volta che ho veramente rischiato ero in un'area destinata al pubblico, insieme a centinaia di persone, e ci sono passate a 4-5 metri, volando a gambe all'aria, una Fabia S2000 e due Mitsu in rapida successione... Sempre in Finlandia... 
Come dici tu, e come dico io, dietro a questi scatti che possono apparire insignificanti, ci sono storie da raccontare, ed anche un po' di tecnica, perché no..?!

Per come la penso io, è il rally da vedere assolutamente. Veloce, molto spettacolare anche per paesaggio e contorno (quanta gente, ad orari impensabili...!!!), ti dico che a distanza di quasi 10 anni conservo ricordi incredibili.
Vai e goditela, non perderti un secondo di gara, ma nemmeno di tutto quel che sta attorno!
