Vi ringrazio molto per i commenti. Avete entrambi sollevato un interessante argomento. Dal mio punto di vista, se parliamo del lato estetico quel bianco lo trovo importante per interrompere la monotonia della parte superiore. Inoltre l'ho ritenuto fondamentale ai fini del racconto naturalistico del luogo che con quella parte di neve diventa piú completo. L'Alaska range non é solo autunno, ma l'inverno che incombe e raggiungerá molto presto la tundra. Grazie.
