La sala con i quadri di Leonardo Da Vinci: quasi impossibile avvicinarsi. Di appena dieci o dodici opere originali di Leonardo conosciute oggi nel mondo, la Russia ne possiede due, nella sala 214 dell'Hermitage sono esposte due tele: La prima "Madonna con il fiore"(1478) (o «Madonna Benois», dal cognome dell'ex proprietario) è una delle opere giovanili del grande maestro e "Madonna Litta" (1490-1491) (anche questo prende il nome dai suoi ex proprietari, i duchi italiani Litta). Purtroppo la folla mi ha impedito di fotografare le opere e quindi mi son dovuto accontentare di uno scorcio della sala.
