con Canon EF 1.4x II, 1/1600 f/8.0, ISO 640, hand held.

I took this shot on a bright but overcast summer's day. I was watching a flock of Seagull's picking up and dropping Snail's (presumably to smash the shells?), this Juvenile Gull was learning fast.......but unfortunately this youngster was flying up with and then dropping a............piece of Mud/Earth, the Gulls continued with this behaviour for some minutes, so I decided to over expose (a lot) with the intention of creating a "High-key" image, I converted to B/W and increased the contrast (to render the faint Grey background completely white), this is cropped to about 1/3rd of the original, but the dive bombing pose and object are as captured.
