Il "Behind the scenes" di questo scatto è un abbastanza lunghetto. Dopo essermi organizzato con altri due ragazzi, residenti a Dublino, decidiamo di andare a fotografare una serie di paesaggi in Irlanda che non avevamo ancora esplorato. Unico inconveniente: una pioggia terribile dalla mattina alla sera... Ebbene sì, ci siamo avventurati per la costa Nord-Ovest dell'Irlanda con la pioggia che non cessava. Dopo aver esplorato parte di Sligo ed il faro di Tullymore decidiamo di visitare l'ultimo faro in programma per la giornata, il faro Fanad Head. Per circa mezz'ora, durante il tramonto, le condizioni meteorologiche erano dalla nostra parte, infatti la pioggia subì una tregua. Ho deciso di ritrarre la scena al meglio man mano che la luce della scena si attenuava e la luce del faro diventava più intensa. Un totale di 760km circa per andare a fotografare delle location sicuramente magiche purtroppo non avvolte da una luce adeguata, ma è questa la sfida di ogni fotografo paesaggista.
