Ormai anche i maniscalchi attuali usano ferri forgiati in serie da ditte specializzate. Si limitano ad adattarli ed a limarli a freddo, ormai. Ci sono di tutti i materiali, dal classico ferro all'alluminio ed anche in plastica (per i trottatori che lavorano sempre su sabbia, ad esempio).
Vedere un maniscalco che forgia da zero un ferro di ferro ormai è uno spettacolo da fiera o da piazza.
Bella la foto, che evidenzia il movimento del fabbro e l'incandescenza del ferro appena tolto dal fuoco.
Forse la Maf è caduta appena prima del ferro, sulla piana dell'incudine.

per la Maf hai ragione ma con la mia canon 550 a 1600 e' gia stato un miracolo tirare fuori una foto del genere se avessi dovuto chiudere ancora.... un erroraccio
