Guardo questa foto e mi viene voglia di prendere la mia bicicletta e andare da qualche parte. In quest'ultimo anno mi sono molto appassionato alla bicicletta. Ho sempre pedalato un po' (poco in realtà), ma da quando vivo in Piemonte la mountain bike è diventato il mio passatempo complementare allo snowboard, per quando riguarda primavera, estate e autunno. Trovo che ti permetta di scoprire un sacco di posti bellissimi vicino casa, che altrimenti non vedresti. E per di più puoi uscire di casa senza dover prendere la macchina. Costo zero, fa bene alla salute e ti fa divertire. Non si può essere tristi quando si è in bicicletta. L'aria fresca sul viso, il rumore delle ruote che girano, la sensazione di scivolare sul terreno. Per quasi tutti è stato il primo mezzo per muoversi quando eravamo bambini. Vi ricordate quanto era bella quella sensazione di libertà? È proprio per questi motivi che sarebbe auspicabile che la bicicletta fosse utilizzata anche come mezzo di trasporto quotidiano. Quante volte prendiamo la macchina per fare pochi chilometri? Magari nel traffico che ci fa pure incazzare e innervosire. Stiamo vedendo in questi giorni gli effetti che stanno scaturendo dai danni causati all'ambiente con le nostre attività, eppure ci sono ancora tante persone che sminuiscono il problema. Dobbiamo fare il possibile per rallentare questo processo. La nostra generazione può essere l'ago della bilancia. Che il punto di non ritorno sia vicino è un dato di fatto. Senza stravolgere le nostre vite possiamo fare molto, solamente rinunciando a qualche comodità, senza considerare che nelle città il traffico è talmente congestionato che probabilmente con una bici ci si metterebbe meno tempo a giungere a destinazione. Ovviamente ci sono anche tante altre cose che si possono fare. Fate le vostre scelte in maniera consapevole, il futuro di questo pianeta è nelle mani di ogni singola persona. Spero di non essere stato troppo pesante ma è un argomento a cui tengo molto.
