Quest' opera progettata da un ingegnere di nome Carlo Gaudenzi, si inserisce nella storia di Cremona del '900 e in origine vi è una storia di luce, o meglio bisogno di luce. Cercando notizie ho letto che l'elioterapia in riva al Po nacque per necessità già nel maggio del 1915 e nello stesso mese in cui l'Italia entrò in guerra, venne istituito un Comitato pro colonie cremonesi del Po che si prefiggeva di assistere l'infanzia più disagiata.
