Quando esco dall'Italia, preferisco cogliere tutti gli aspetti del nuovo Paese, anche i più sconfortanti, quelli che spesso si preferisce mettere da parte come se non fossero mai esistiti e/o avvenuti. Invece è accaduto, negli anni'90, a poco più di 250 Km dalle Coste Italiane, c'è stata la Guerra. Tutto ciò non va dimenticato, la "testimonianza" può essere, seppur modesto, un deterrente perché ciò non riaccada. - In verità una Signora locale mi ha confidato che in qualche parte di questo sfortunato Paese cova ancora del "fuoco sotto la cenere", ma speriamo si spenga e lo faccia definitivamente. - Ne hanno viste davvero troppe da quelle parti... ed è bello, oggi, vedere tantissime ragazze e ragazzi che, specie la sera, in allegria si riversano nelle strade e negli innumerabili locali, pub, bar e birrerie all'aperto, desiderosi di riappropriarsi spensieratamente della propria Vita.
