Hello Paolino, I beg to give advice... in hindsight. :-D
to my way of seeing, according to technical data, F 11 is exaggerated. With the goal you have there was definitely an F 4 or even a f 2.8. This way you could keep the ISO at low levels without creating noise. In any case you have taken the Martino in a beautiful pose. Congratulations.

Hello Renato, thank you very much for your advice, I always accept them very willingly :-)
Unfortunately I can not get decent results with wide openings over 4-5 meters away, let alone with moving subjects. But I'm going to improve and still always try, try and try until you get good results ;-) I'm not a big fan of high ISO, in the case of this shot I worked with Diframma priority and shutter speed, leave the ISO automatically. You are absolutely right and I am aware: I should have opened more the diaphragm: this is certain. With the SE, in MA, and I though it does not concludes anything 8-)
Thanks again for your precious support and I wish you a good day!

Ciao Paolino,
with the avifauna is not easy to bring home the shots to scream. Still good.

Thank you so much for visiting and commenting, you're right: especially with fast birds like the kingfisher. ;-)
Greetings Pauline.
