at 600mm, 1/2000 f/8.0, ISO 500, tripod. Centro Cicogne e Anatidi di Racconigi, Italy.

Ero appena arrivato al capanno quando ho sentito un gran trambusto, tutti gli uccelli dal fondo della palude erano arrivati davanti all'osservatorio di Racconigi, mentre pensavo "il solito rapace li ha fatti fuggire" alla mia sinistra dal canale ed a pelo d'acqua è arrivato questo splendido esemplare di falco di palude femmina che con una piroetta si è avventata sull'alzavola bloccandola nell'acqua. Nella galleria apposita potrete vedere una piccola sequenza. Ho scelto questa immagine perchè la ritengo una delle più significative del momento, dove gli altri uccelli immobilizzati dal terrore assistevano inermi alla scena sotto lo sguardo del rapace.
