Il castello dei duchi di Pomerania a Stettino, Szczecin. Restaurato di recente, è uno dei piu belli di tutta la Pomerania. Si tratta di un edificio rinascimentale costruito sul fiume Odra. Le sue origini risalgono al XIV secolo. Il castello è da sempre il simbolo della città e della dinastia dei Grifiti che dominava la Pomerania. Ancora oggi il grifone è il simbolo della città. Nel 1946 il castello venne gravemente danneggiato dai bombardamenti alleati. Dal 1948 iniziarono prima ricerche archeologiche, poi si passò ai lavori di ricostruzione e restauro.
