Il taglio mi convince poco ma è un mio gusto personale... però la foto mi piace sia per la luce che per la qualità oltre ovviamente al soggetto.

Ciao, mi piace molto sia il taglio compositivo che hai voluto dare sia la resa del volto in ombra. Trovo invece strana e innaturale la dominante gialla che compare sulla testa e sulle spalle (capisco la forte illuminazione peraltro ben controllata in quanto non ci sono zone bruciate, ma non la dominante). Apprezzo anche la scelta del taglio quadrato

Hello, I really like both the compositional wanted to give you both the yield of the face in shadow. I find it strange and unnatural yellow cast that appears on the head and shoulders (I understand the strong light, however well controlled as there are areas burned, but not dominant). I also appreciate the choice of the square cut ;-)

Per la dominante gialla...penso sia dovuta alla luce del sole molto basso ed intenso all'orizzonte...stagione secchissima ed il piccolo villaggio Himba circondato da vegetazione giallo oro...non ho altre spiegazioni, xò vado a vedere le altre foto scattate in quell'occasione. Sono stata anch'io in Namibia, e anch'io ho potuto vedere gli effetti indesiderati del riflesso del sole sulla pelle ocra degli himba (soprattutto i riflessi del sole che rimbalzava sulle capanne ocra che poi, a sua volta, rimbalzava sulla pelle degli himba ) Dico solo che se tu potessi diminuire l'effetto di questa dominante e rendere meno netto lo stacco con la pelle in ombra (ottimamente resa) penso che l'insieme ne guadagnerebbe. Ripeto, mi piace molto.

I was also in Namibia, and I also got to see the side effects of the reflection of the sun on the skin of ocher Himba (especially the reflection of the sun bouncing off the huts ocher which then, in turn, bounced on the skin of the Himba ;-)) I'm just saying that if you could reduce the effect of this ruling and make the separation less clear skin in the shade (best performance) I think we all stand to gain. Concordo con Flavia circa la leggera dominante gialla che si percepisce, ma a parte questo si tratta veramente un bellissimo ritratto, per esecuzione tecnica e per la capacità da te dimostrata nel catturare lo sguardo fiero di questo piccolo himba.

I agree with Flavia about the slight yellow cast that can be perceived, but other than that it really is a beautiful portrait, technical execution and ability demonstrated by you in capturing the proud look of this little himba.

Ciao Enrico! Mi piace moltissimo il soggetto che rende davvero bella questa foto. C'è la dominante e forse sarebbe meglio correggere, ma a me non dà fastidio, anzi, avvolge il soggetto con il suo calore e mi sembra di essere lì, a vedere questo bambino con la luce calda del sole ormai basso. Avrei lavorato invece sull'inquadratura mettendo il soggetto un po' più a destra e quindi non centrale eliminando quel disturbo sempre sulla parte destra.

Hello Henry! I really like the person who makes really beautiful this photo. There is the dominant and perhaps it would be better to correct, but does not bother me, in fact, surrounds the subject with its warmth and I seem to be there to see this child with the warm light of the sun now low. I worked on framing instead putting the subject a bit 'to the right and therefore not central eliminating that disorder always on the right side.
